How can I purchase an item?
Making a purchase could not be easier. Browse through our online store and select the items that you wish to purchase. Once you have completed your selection go to the checkout page. Once you are happy with your selection you can choose to process or save your order.
What payment options do you offer?
We offer the following options:
Credit Card via our secure online payment system
Paypal Account
Personal or Bank Cheque
Direct deposit - via internet banking or manual cash deposit at any St George
Bank
Money order - can be purchased from any Australia Post outlet.
What information do I need to include with my payment?
You need to include your full name and your order number with your payment.
How much does it cost for Postage and Handling?
Prices are inclusive:
Orders to $99.99 = $9.95
$100 to $199.99 = $4.95
$200 and over = FREE
Do you deliver outside of Australia?
No. At this point in time, our operations are limited to delivery within Australia.
Can I get a discount?
Rather than giving individual discounts we offer free postage and handling for orders over $200 and a reduction in delivery charges for orders over $100.00. Cadet units are welcome to enquire for further discounts and this will be based upon the quantity of items ordered.
How soon will I receive my order?
All orders are dispatched as soon as our dedicated staff at Cadetshop can process them. We aim for a turnaround of 2 to 10 working days. Orders paid for via cheque will not be processed until the cheque has been cleared. All orders are sent via Express Post to expedite your delivery. Occasionally some orders may take longer to process if we have to source your product from another location.
What happens if you don't have the product I want in stock?
If your item is not in stock, we will back order that/those items for you. If you are concerned that your order has not arrived within 10 working days, please contact us and we will be more than happy to give you a progress report on your order.

What is your Returns/Refund Policy?
Cadetshop is only willing to exchange or refund goods, if a stock item is faulty or an incorrect item has been sent where Cadetshop has made a mistake in filling the order. Cadetshop will exchange goods free of charge if incorrect items have been sent to you. Any charges incurred for the return of goods as a result of our error will be refunded accordingly. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Do you take orders from units?
Yes. We encourage cadet units and other units that wish to purchase items from our online store to get together as a group and submit a bulk order. Remember if you buy over $200 worth of items you don't pay for postage.
Does your stock comply with Australian Defence Force Cadet policy?
Yes. All of our items comply with the current standing orders and instructions from each of the three services. Cadetshop works with the cadet organisation to ensure that our uniform items meet the required standards and policy. Cadetshop welcomes contact from the policy heads of the cadet and military organisation to discuss how we can assist you.
Am I restricted to what I can purchase from Cadetshop?
No. Cadetshop will sell any available product. This means that you can make up rank display boards for your unit.
Do you take special orders?
Yes. We are open to sourcing and supplying any item used by you or your cadet/military unit. We will negotiate prices and time frames with you on special requests. If you have a special request i.e. Display boards, Squadron banners/banner sashes etc, please contact us via email on info@cadetshop.com.au
Do you have a privacy policy?
Cadetshop will not disclose a buyers' information to third parties. Cookies
are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping
cart once you have selected an item and to store delivery addresses if the
address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember
Me' Option. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
